Incredible spot for our first night in town from Boston! Shout out my girl Victoria for reserving us the table, and to the whole staff for being lovely and kind and treating us like family. The service is really very good which made the experience so fun. The food was incredible. We genuinely left stuffed after sharing salad, meatballs, pizza, and pasta. The sticky date cake was truly the star though…..so good I forgot to get a picture 😂😭
For a place focused on pizza, the pizza missed badly. We ordered three pies. All arrived soggy and wet. The crust was overly thick. The slices collapsed due to a soaked center. The date cake stood out and tasted excellent. The pistachio tiramisu was acceptable. Service was fine overall, though one server with glasses came across as unfriendly. She might have been having a rough day. The experience was average, but the pizza was a major disappointment.
Place really blew me away. They also were real accommodating of me being a vegetarian which is always nice. Sat in that one sneaky corner table which makes for real cute intimate vibes. Great for a date 😌 oh speaking of dates; they have like a date dessert bread thing that is next level shiiii.
We pulled up to Pizzeria Panina right at 7PM, and the vibe was exactly what you’d want on a laid-back summer night in Ridgewood. It was casual, cozy, and well-designed. It’s a small, intimate space, but it doesn’t feel cramped. You can tell they pay attention to the little details. I didn’t order any drinks this time, but I loved that they didn’t charge extra for sparkling water! My homies did get a few drinks. The service was incredible. Friendly, attentive, but never overbearing. Everyone was on point from the second we walked in. The special ravioli they had tonight was absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked, balanced flavors. Who knew corn and ravioli would work so well together. The pizza was great too—high-quality dough and toppings—but the pies run a bit small, just something to
From the moment we stepped into this place, we were impressed by the staff, the food, and the overall atmosphere. Every dish that arrived exceeded our expectations. We tried the Calabrese Pizza, the Agnolotti Pasta, and the Sticky Date Cake.
