Pizza Cucina North Merrick

I was in urgent need of a bathroom, and the 7-Eleven nearby wouldn’t allow me to use theirs. Someone there kindly suggested I try Cucina Pizza around the corner. When I arrived, I explained the situation to the owner and mentioned that a customer from 7-Eleven had sent me. The owner welcomed me without hesitation and allowed me to use the restroom with genuine kindness. The food looked and smelled amazing, the atmosphere was pleasant, and everyone there had a smile and was happy to help me during a moment of real need. The owner was especially hospitable. Based on that experience alone, I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to return to eat there.

Pizza Cucina in North Merrick surprised me with their unique grandma slice topped with eggplant—something I’ve never seen before. The flavor profile really works, with the slight bitterness of the eggplant balancing out the sweetness of the sauce and a nice touch of salt throughout. The crust has a solid undercarriage, giving it that perfect crisp bite, and the portion is big and satisfying. Definitely a standout slice and a great value—worth checking out if you’re in the area and want something a little different.

I recently tried this pizza place for the first time, and overall, I had a great experience. I ordered the regular slice, grandma slice, and vodka slice, and while all three were good, the grandma slice definitely stood out as the best. The crust was thin, with just the right amount of crisp, and it wasn’t overly burnt like some places tend to do. As for pricing, it’s pretty standard for pizza, but honestly, it was worth the price for the quality of the slices. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Burnt and somehow also soggy crust. Pizza was folded into the box and the wings are soggy with borderline no sauce. Worst pizza I’ve bought on long island

The pizza is good however the pasta/ other food items are not great. I had ordered whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce. The amount of garlic was overwhelming. The portions are huge so you will have leftovers which is nice.
