Sweet & Salty Ride Bakery

It was a long day and I needed a cake quickly for my anniversary. Luckily this spot was open and near the Long Island Railroad, that’s big plus on location, it was only a 5-minute drive from Merrick station. They have only been open a month, but they been making cakes for years, you can feel they know their trade. Their collection is well displayed with various choices, from cakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies and assorted treats. Looking forward to trying their coffee. They also have ample room for those busy days. They are still decorating the store so I’m curious to see how they dress up the place. I can't say enough good things about Sweet & Salty ride. I needed a special cake for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen and the owner was so easy and helpful to work with. Not only did the cake come out beautiful it was delicious. The choices of pastries, breads, cookies and other treats are divine and unique. And honestly they have the BEST COFFEE on the block. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

Absolutely Obsessed! I cannot say enough good things about this bakery! The moment you walk in, it smells like pure heaven. Everything is fresh, beautifully made, and you can tell they put real love into their pastries. The staff is warm, patient, and genuinely happy to help you pick out the perfect treat (which is basically impossible because everything looks amazing). I tried a few different items and every single one was incredible — super soft, rich flavors, and never overly sweet. You can tell quality is their priority. The place is always clean, cozy, and so welcoming. If you’re looking for a bakery that truly cares about what they put out, this is the one. I will 100% be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful cake! I ordered a cake for my mom’s 60th birthday as a suprise and they did not disappoint!! Such a great experience ordering from them. She was blown away with the detail of the roses! The cake was delicious; the buttercream was so moist/flavorful and the cake was fluffy! Would 100% order another cake. 10/10, thank you so much!

Ordered 2 cakes for my daughters’ birthdays. Tanya was incredibly helpful and patient with me, explaining several options that were in my price range. We wanted Encanto theme with 2 different cakes representing color themes of 2 different characters my daughters love and wow did they deliver. The cakes were beautiful, moist and delicious! Thank you!
