We had a really nice experience at this Czech restaurant in downtown Waco! The service was prompt, food was exceptional, and they ensured that my wife had a wonderful bday experience. They brought out an amazing red velvet cupcake with a nicely decorated plate and candle. They even brought out an extra cupcake! The server Dylan was kind and helpful throughout our visit. My wife and I could have eaten another plate of the Schnitzel pasta with cream sauce. Overall a very good experience!

The steak was superb but the shrimp was apparently soaked in a heavy brine. The service was terrible, spending half our time waiting. And the side area was so loud i could barely hear myself let alone the person I shared the table with. For a $150 meal I expected a better experience than I'd get at Denny's.

We enjoyed our stay. Property is very nice. The room was clean and a very fun atmosphere. There was a lot to walk to near the hotel. ||The only reason I didn't give the hotel 5 stars, the bar and restaurant are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Our stay was Tuesday into a Wednesday. The other reason is the room had a beautiful copper bath tub, but no shower. ||The hours of operation of the restaurant are listed on the website, so that is on me for missing it. I however didn't see anything in photos or description showing that the bathroom was lacking a shower. ||We will definitely stay again next time we are in Waco. ||For the price I don't think you will find a nicer hotel in the area.

Went to the Pivovar Restaurant and Brewery on a road trip to Waco for Sunday lunch. They had a Sunday special on their schnitzels. Buy one, get one-half-off. Those were good pork schnitzels. Also got a pint of their dark lager, which was a coffee lager with bold flavors but smooth. Service was good and the place was clean.

We absolutely loved our time at Pivovar Waco—it’s hands down one of the best spots in town! Our bartender/server Adrian was fantastic; super friendly, attentive, and made our visits feel so welcoming every time. The beer selection was spot-on, with the premium lager being perfectly crisp and refreshing—couldn’t get enough! The food? Outstanding. The schnitzel was amazing—tender, flavorful, and a total standout. We also devoured the Reuben and the giant pretzel (soft, salty, and served with killer mustard).
