Pitt Grill - Alexandria

This was a good spot for breakfast. The weekly specials were a great value. I had 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon for just over $6. Service was a bit slow but kind. They were busy on a weekday morning. I’d go back again.

The Pit Grill surprised me. I usually don't eat at many breakfast places but glad I did. The staff was friendly, helped me pick out something I really liked. I tried the Western Omelette with Pancakes. The thing I liked about the Pit Grill was that the pancakes are included with the main dish. I've been to some places where they charge you extra for pancakes because the main meal only comes with biscuits or toast. Prices aren't ridiculous either.

First time back in my home state after 11 years and I got Pitt Grill around midnight. The fries were not cooked and the burger was not how I ordered. This is not the great southern cooking I used to know. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I appreciate the kind staff, but after a decade of not having southern food, this was simply a disappointment. Not asking for a gourmet meal, but at least cook the food and give me what I order at minimum.

Stopped in on a whim and it did not disappoint. Came for breakfast and the food was really good. Service was fast and had clean bathrooms. Would stop by again if I was in the area!

A lot of customers were ordering breakfast for supper. I, however, had a cheeseburger and Sweet potato fries. They even had honey mustard dipping sauce for my fries. The bun was amazing! It was more like a roll. So soft and definitely delicious 😋
