Pita Pit

I used to live in Huntington. Pita Pit was one of my favorite places. There isn’t one where I live now. I was surprised to see the hours here were cut down to nearly nothing, so I tried to plan at least one day’s meal accordingly. My mother just died, we liked going here together. I’ve been looking forward to getting myself a pita, is what I’m saying. So. Imagine my surprise, heartbreak, and fury when I arrived at 12:40pm today, Friday January 9th, to find the location closed with no explanation. You’re supposed to be open until THREE PM! No note on the door, no nothing. It is a really unprofessional look for a business to not adhere to posted hours. Pita Pit is delicious and I used to frequent them. However, they now close at 3, which is frustrating. I also can no longer order via the app because it is always “temporarily unavailable”. I receive an occasional promo mode but there is no way to redeem them.

Haven't had pita pit in 10 years used to work at one ... This location I've tried going to 3 times now and nobody is there at all

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that they were already closed when I tried to walk in at 3 eventhough they close at 4. The girls working had everything cleaned and ready to walk out the door but they made accommodations for me and went ahead and made my food. Much appreciated! The chicken soulvaki is bomb!

It's been a little slow for business at Pita Pit since winter hit. So I got my order done fast for my lunch break. Taste delicious. I ordered how my pita would be made. Sometimes I will order how I would like my pita made. My favorite it the Mediterranean Pita. So delicious! I consider this my energy food to go. It's within walking distance of the Marshall University Campus and downtown business.
