Pistol Pats Family Diner

This place came from my Nana & Papa Rogers Pistol Pats BBQ Express in Disney, Oklahoma. Three of us stopped in the way to Grove for a Football game to see if it would measure up. Really good portions. Really good. We all took home a togo box. BBQ was great. I had the three meat with Ribs, Brisket and Balonga. All was cooked well and had good flavor. The BBQ sauce was good, not quite Papa's sauce but still very tasty. Service was good, funny and we got a show with the cook singing with the radio. Was a little higher priced than what I expected, but again, we had enough to take home for dinner and lunch the next day. So, it all evens out. Would recommend a stop in. We hear that the Grove place is just as good.

Service was very friendly and quick. Ordered the burger and crinkle cut fries and finished it all just as quick too.

Our waitress was not very friendly, and it took a long time for our food to come out. Three people in our group got their meals first, but they wanted to wait for the rest of us before eating. By the time the rest of the food arrived, their meals had already gone cold. When the plates finally came, they were stacked on top of each other so some of the food ended up smashed. Another staff member (not our waitress) brought out a few of the burgers and seemed unsure of what was on them, so she started deconstructing them with her bare hands right at the table. Watching someone touch our food like that was pretty off-putting and made me question the cleanliness behind the scenes. As for the food itself, it was average. My meal was okay but nothing special. First time here. Cannot complain! Service was great! Food was great! I absolutely loved the Michael Jackson music that was playing! It was even better that the cook was singing along and enjoying himself 😊 Definitely a great environment. Just a good vibe all around. Will definitely be back when we are back in this area!
