J-Way Cafe

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Ordered a hamburger with sweet potato fries and they were delicious. The place was packed with walk-ins picking up carry out orders and as busy as they were, the wait staff was exceptional and the food came out quickly.

First time at this little Cafe & I was impressed. It's clean, staff is friendly, food is good & you get plenty of it & the prices are really reasonable. I didn't make it into the bathroom to check it or it probably would have gotten a five. Great job staff. We aren't over this way very much but when I am. This is where I'll be eating. Oh yeah I love the old country music you play. You don't hear George Jones very often. 👍😊💖

Portions don't justify the price. Other places in the area have better food and way better prices. The staff is not very friendly and didn't seem to know what utensils are required to actually eat a meal. They serve a typical breakfast dish, like eggs and hash browns with ham or an omelet with a knife and spoon. We had to ask for a fork. The floors were sticky and the booths were dirty. Ours has a child's dusty footprints all over the seat. It was easy to see and should have been wiped off when they wiped the table. We actually passed up another booth because the recently wiped table was so wet, it would have taken 20 minutes to dry up on its own. We just decided to eat there after shopping nextdoor at L&L Outdoors. We'll definitely eat elsewhere after our next visit to L&L

I don’t know if they were short on waitresses. Ours never came back to the table to address any needs. Was asked for extra napkins after our order was taken, and ranch dressing after our food arrived that never appeared. One burger ordered with no onions had piles of them. Had to go up to the counter and get napkins, ranch plus syrup for sweet potato fries. Food was good but wait staff not so great. Maybe the server was having a bad day. Swiftly went by and left the bill on the table. None of us saw it until we finished eating. Didn’t leave a great tip. It wasn’t earned. The waitress may simply need more training.
