Pismo Beach Cafe & Boba Tea

Stopped by Pismo Beach Cafe & Boba Tea and had a satisfying, casual meal. We ordered the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and a cheeseburger. Both shawarma plates were flavorful and well-seasoned, with tender meat and generous portions. The cheeseburger was simple but hit the spot—juicy and filling, perfect if you’re in the mood for something classic. The menu has a nice mix of Mediterranean and American options, making it easy for everyone to find something they like. It’s a great spot for a quick bite near the beach, and pairing the food with boba tea is a fun bonus. Overall, a solid stop if you’re in Pismo Beach and looking for something casual and tasty.

The gentleman and lady who run this place are super sweet and friendly. Had a nice conversation with them (sorry for coming so close to the time you close!) If you go try the taro blended drink with boba it’s so good especially when the weather is nice. The price is unbeatable and better than the prices you see nearby. It was ~$7 for a big drink with lots of boba. The owner let me also try it before I left to make sure I liked it. They also gave me some free snacks and chips. Will definitely be coming back with friends. Delicious! 10/10

An excellent boba experience: a perfectly cooked, chewy tapioca pearls (not mushy) that absorb brown sugar or honey flavors, paired with a rich, creamy milk tea base. Caramelized "crème brûlée" layers, high-quality, authentic tea, and customizable sugar/ice levels. As close as you can get to heaven without dying. Highly recommended. Amazing treat! Delicious! I never caught his name, but the older guy who helped take our order was nice and friendly. We were a larger group and he offered to clear the larger table without us asking. I had a delicious falafel wrap and he added a couple extra falafel on the house. Later he brought some baklava also on the house. It was all so tasty!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was great. The portions were very generous and definitely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back!
