Piri Piri Chicken RVA

They have freshly made corn tortillas chips that are delicious. Ordered the tortilla chips with a red salsa and white queso dip. Everything was tasty. I ordered the Mi Rey platter that comes with the ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, and the piri quarter leg chicken. Got a side of avocado and the Jamaica drink. Everything was five stars: the food and the service. I will definitely need to return and try some desserts.... 😋

I got the chicken platter. It came with rice, beans, and a corn bread muffin. The black beans were delicious. That’s about it. The chicken wasn’t anything that I’d return for. It was cooked well, but…idk. I’ve had significantly better elsewhere. The cornbread muffin had no flavor, yet it supposedly had jalapeños in it (it was also dry). The rice also didn’t have flavor. The lady at the register was really nice and helpful though. Great service.

Pitiful Piri is down the street from my job and on this day I was hungry and looking for something new and Piri Piri gave me whaat I was looking for. I walked in and ordered a Burrito Sabanero. I had no idea what this was until it came out, but it was basically a chicken burrito with grilled shrimp on top with a side of red beans and rice. When I tell you I ate every bit of this.. I'm not lying, this chicken was seasoned to perfection and hit the spot. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely DELICIOUS food! We had pupusas, tacos de birria, and quesadillas. It was all scrumptious, but the tacos de birria were exceptional. We ended up getting more! Also the flan and tiramisu were yummy!!

Glad I remembered this place. They do Tex-Mex and and Pupusas in addition to Piri Piri grilled chicken. Tell them it’s your first time and they will give you three sauces with your chicken.
