Pink Hippo Cafe

Every time I stop in they are friendly, attentive and make you feel really welcome… Plus, their coffee is divine and the treats and goodies you really just can’t pass up… They also showcase work from local artisans (jewelry, cards, ornaments, etc.) and other beautiful things… And I love supporting local businesses, artisans and craftspeople! One of my friends is very particular about her coffee and she said the coffee at Pink Hippo Cafe is much better than Dunkin’ Donuts. That’s high praise! Highly recommend! 🫶🏼 🌸🦛

I find excuses to go to the Portsmouth area just to get Pink Hippo. The way they make the coffee preserves the taste of the blend, Katrina is wicked nice and makes fun drinks, and they serve Congdon’s donuts! Still haven’t found chai tea or coffee made as well nearby.

Cutesy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious pastries. I got the maple square and a complimentary cup of coffee from the deal they have with the local HRCU. The coffee was okay, but the real star is definitely the pastries.

I’m not much of a cafe guy or really into Pink, although Hippo’s are pretty cool. This place was great, bright, welcoming, and the service was top notch. I had a chai tea latte and a honey bun (a couple times a year occurrence) and both possibly the best I’ve ever had. Must try spot!!

The Pink Hippo Café is connected to a bank and is all the way to the right side, as you pull in. The signage is a little hard to see from the road. As you walk in, it is cutely decorated and clean. There are many local baked goods to choose from. There is also local vendors showcasing super cute gifts for sale. I ordered six donuts, a bagel and a double latte and it cost me $40 with tip. Service was fantastic. The ladies there were super friendly and kind. The apple fritter was amazing! The bagel and coffee were ok.
