Greenland Famous Roast Beef & Seafood

It's a very typical strip mall eating experience. The pizza is solid. Toppings were great and the sauce steals the show. Nice crunch without it being too much. The super beef 3 way is the best I've ever had. Just wow. Not overwhelming but right on that edge with a big portion. You should eat here. It's a hidden gem.

I’ve been coming to Greenland Famous Roast Beef for years for their Buffalo Chicken Wrap. As a self-described sandwich snob, I am always on the hunt for a new favorite sandwich shop. The staff is very friendly, and the shop is clean whenever I come to pick up my order. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, pizzas, and pastas - my review is based on the sandwich and mozzarella sticks only. I always say I will try something new, but I am a creature of habit. The buffalo chicken wrap is one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches in the area. The spice isn't too hot and blends well with the blue cheese. On this visit, I was disappointed about the lack of toppings, but that was my fault. Add pickles and tomatoes to add an extra kick of flavor. They also have a wide variety of my favorite

Honestly not flashy. But thats what made this place. My sub was ready in 5 min. It was a loaded Italian, the meats were fresh and the veggies were crisp. 15$ for a sub was steep bit it was tasty.

The star of the show is the super beef. Its not a typical restaurant type setting, its nice and clean inside, but it only has a few tables and can fill up quickly, so don't be surprised if you have to take your food to go. The super beef is basically a roast beef 3 way. If you aren't familiar with this Nort Shore popular sandwich its tender roast beef, typically med rare, with american cheese, mayo, Jim's river bbq (which is a lil spicy, not very, just enough for a bite of spice) on an onion roll. Messy and delicious!!!

Roast beef perfection was the immediate reaction on with the first bite of the Super beef with horse radish and special bbq sauce I ordered. The Roast beef is sliced so thin it's amazingly tender and almost melts in your mouth. The onion rolls they use seem like they are slightly toated on the outside, great added flavor. This sandwich made my mouth happy. Definitely worth the drive from Barrington. I'll definitely back.
