We gave it a chance, despite the mediocre reviews, we were left completely disappointed. The service is chaotic, the food is average, and their is no accountability for their poor advertising and public facing communication. It is really sad that a place with that beautiful of a view, in a lodge that wonderful, has such a sub standard restaurant.

Service was great! As for the buffet. I didn't really like the food they had. My husband got the buffet. He said it sure not like it use to be with the crab legs. But they did keep the same price! I asked can I have a menu to order something else. they had No menu. They only offered 2 items. Hamburger with cheese & fries, Or chicken strips with fries. I took the cheese burger & fries. It was a good Burger! Very nice place! We had a nice time!

Despite some less than appealing reviews, we gave the Seafood Buffet a chance while staying at the campground. We certainly were not expecting a Gulf Coast experience nor did we get one. Our biggest take away was bland taste. Definitely not worth $30 a plate.

It took them 14 days to charge our debit cards! Who does that? $28.99 per person for the worst seafood buffet I've ever been to in my life. The salad bar was lackluster, and the dessert bar wasn't much of a dessert bar with their cafeteria cakes. The worst part was the seafood. Absolutely everything was fried so there was nothing I could eat except the shrimp Alfredo and grits. The grits didn't even have the texture of grits. I don't even remember the shrimp Alfredo having shrimp, but maybe imitation crab. We had a party of 8 adults and 3 children and absolutely nobody liked any of the food. We were all so disappointed especially with how expensive it is. None of us ate $30 worth of food. My dad asked to speak to the manager, but the manager couldn't even make the attempt to speak with him

Beautiful scenery and friendly service; however, the food was absolutely terrible. We went for the seafood buffet and not one thing was edible. The salad bar was fair and the dessert bar was bought cookies and dry crumbly cake. I would not recommend at all! It was also very expensive for the quality. Out ticket was 73.00 for party of 2.
