Old Town Stock House

We really enjoyed having a date night here. We were promptly seated before our reservation time. Food and drinks came at a reasonable time. Our waitress was nice and not overbearing. The food was the star of the show. The food had great flavor and was not too much or too little. Great spot with a premium price.

Overall, I was pleased with this dining experience and would call it an easy 4-star meal. Dining solo, I ended up at the corner of the bar after about a 45-minute wait on a Tuesday (my fault for not making a reservation). The vibe is industrial-chic in a good way: historic bones with a modern look, cozy and just this side of cramped. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. The escargot was the clear standout of the night. Chef Crystal brings a subtle Southern touch to a classic French dish, and it absolutely works. The flavor was so good it might’ve ruined escargot elsewhere for me. The chicken and pasta main, though, left more to be desired. We are in town for the holidays and several family members recommend we try this place for a upscale experience. We were sat at the bar becuase they were packed and the host said once a table opened up he would seat us. That never happened. The bartender really needs training. He never spoke to us whwn we were seated. 10 min after we sat he decided to take our drink order. Unfortunately the service got worse. I have never in my life had to pay for bread service... the bartender never stayed behind the bar. He went missing often. I had ordered the $80 filet medium... 1 hour later after ordering it received the steak it was way over cooked. I never said a word.. how could I our server /bartender never was a round to the point I had to ask other servers for help.. my bill was $200 for

My husband and I are regulars at Old Town Stock House and we've always absolutely loved our experience there and the food is always the best. The service is always amazing, we love the whole staff. But last night they sealed the deal for me and will forever be my favorite place to go! My niece is turning 10 and I made reservations with Noah a few weeks ago to bring her in for a special dinner just her and me. Let me tell you when I say they made her feel like a princess with a classy subtle touch of personal experience, it just isn't enough to describe how great of an evening it was. She loved all the food, the staff interacted with her in a way that made her feel special and grown up and made me love them each even more. Birthday Dinner with my Mrs on a week night. The restaurant was was extremely busy and very loud. Should have expected this as it is mid December and many Christmas parties. Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed as I believe she does not have much experience . She was very pleasant and did a decent job waiting on us. We had a bottle of wine and bread service along with My wife’s Filet and my Pork Chop. The food was cooked very well and was very good but definitely not 5 stars at the very high price point. We did not have any dessert as the meal is large and we are not big eaters. They looked very good, but again very pricey. All in all it wasn’t what I was expecting from all the over the top reviews.
