Pinckney Community Public Library

What a lovely little library filled with polite and helpful staff. It might look smallish on the outside, but it is definitely large and plentiful on the inside. The parking lot is large and offers designated handicapped spaces. There’s lots of books, movies, activities for the little ones, a table dedicated to free items for small children near the entrance/exit. I am pretty sure there was also a cart filled with free books for teenagers and adults. I personally want to thank Anna and Kristen for all their help again with sending over items to print, making copies, faxing important documents, and signing up for my new library card. Really enjoy their meet and greet with the Author presentation series. In October we enjoyed the Michigan Dorman and most recently the Haunted Collectibles presentation with the Authors. Catch them if you can.

The new Pinckney Library is a beautiful facility that also captures the historical architectural importance from the late 1800's. There is a large common area with Apple computers available to the public, as well as meeting rooms that can be scheduled for public use. They also have an area dedicated as a local historical archive for public use. This certainly is a wonderful facility worth visiting.

Prompt and courteous service from the librarians. The library is clean and has an atmosphere good for reading and studying. What more could you ask for?
