Customer Reviews
Absolutely loved my visit to Coffee Works! The staff were so friendly and welcoming — you can really feel that they care about their customers. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious; I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and it was perfectly balanced with flavor. My iced coffee was made just right — smooth, refreshing, and exactly what I needed. The whole atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
The baristas were so sweet! But if you're looking for a welcoming place to sit and talk, just know you will be asked to leave. My mom and I were enjoying a quiet morning sipping our coffee, and not 15-20 minutes later, and older man in an apron approached us and told us if we aren't going to order anything else we need to leave. I understand coffee shops as spaces made to be for community, unfortunately this is not one of them. :( Hardline on fourth street is always warm and welcoming though! Would highly recommend!
I made a trip today with my girlfriend for some lunch, and I was very pleased with all the food we got. We got 2 grillers with soup, along with a few drinks. This is a must-go spot, with a very nice atmosphere!
I don't care whether it's soup, a sandwich, salad, coffee, or a slice of one of their cakes, Pierce Street Coffee Works does everything well. Everything is so fresh and unique. The only problem you're going to have is deciding what to get and convincing yourself that you should try multiple things off the menu instead of falling in love with the first thing you try. This was their roasted red pepper and smoked gouda soup with their weekend special sandwich, space ghost. It had turkey, provolone, sprouts, basil, pesto mayo, and onion on wheat bread. SO GOOD. The staff/owner is incredible, everyone is so welcoming, and the atmosphere is eclectic. The owner even puts some of his artwork and what he has collected all over the space..
It was/is the bees knees!! We visited, from Charleston SC, in May 2025. My spicy little Aunt Nila is in the coffee house every Saturday morning!! Everything was awesome and welcoming!!
