Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar

We went for the all day happy hour on Sundays. Really good deal on drinks. The drinks were good. The service was good. It was actually pretty busy but our server was nice and attentive. We got the calamari and it was alright but pretty chewy (which is pretty common. Hard to find a place who doesn't serve it chewy.) Definitely a large portion for an appetizer though. The shrimp was good. Seasoned well! Definitely what one would expect from a big chain seafood place. Definitely scratched the seafood itch and worth a visit.

A sweet gem of a place! I had fried pickles SPEARS (delicious😋), fried shrimp, and regular fries though you can also get Cajun fries and sweet potato fries. Wife had blue crab with rice and potato. Everything was cooked wonderfully and tasted just great! Thank you, August, for being such a sweet and attentive hostess! You made our first visit perfect😊 if you haven't tried them then please pen them in for a visit. The decor and ambience is both pleasant and relaxing. Stopped here for dinner tonight and really enjoyed our meal. Our server, Nick was great and helped us decide what to order. Our food came out piping hot and fresh. My hubby got a fried combo dinner with shrimp and oysters, plus fries....and I got a boiled seafood bag with shrimp, crab legs and crawfish. It came with an egg, potato and corn on the cob. The garlic butter sauce was tasty and added a nice zing to the seafood. The atmosphere is nice with a typical nautical setting. Everything was clean and decorated well. We were both very happy with our meals and look forward to coming back again soon.

McKayla was outstanding. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu while answering all of our questions with patience and clarity. Her warm and friendly demeanor truly reflected how much she cares about her work. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we greatly appreciated her exceptional service. Will definitely be back just because of her great service!
