Little Dipper Bakery and Cafe

April pulled off a sleek/clean modern-style wedding cake that was absolutely sumptuous! Her and her team are top-notch bakers, very knowledgeable, and are willing to help make ideas come to life. She answered all our questions during the tasting and after 1 bite, we knew we wanted Lil Dipper as part of our wedding! We landed on a 3-teired cake with 3 flavors: strawberry/lemon curd; almond/chocolate ganache; chocolate/raspberry mousse. A few of our guests have a GF allergy and, with ease, April accommodated our request of 1-dozen GF cupcakes. Highly recommend giving this bakery a chance to be a part of your next event/party/celebration etc. You won't regret it!

This little bakery and lunch spot is across the street from the credit union, conveniently off Whitesburg Drive. If you've ever been to any of the neighboring businesses (eg The Wine Cellar), you'll know parking is a challenge - not a ton of spots, and many of them requiring sharp angles to enter and exit. The restaurant looks a little like a small home and has a nice fenced in patio in the front. It looks like the owners are still working to put the finishing touches on the inside, but it's still cute and welcoming. There's a medium sized dining area with a window so employees can pass your food to you. A beautiful display case shows off the yummy baked goods. My mortgage company gave pies to their clients for Christmas. We were give 4 different kinds to choose from. My husband and I close the chocolate fudge pie. Of my gosh, it’s amazing!! I can’t wait to try their other flavors.

If I could give more than 5-stars, I would! April and Daniel are the baking dream team! Their dessert and catering menu is robust and they can customize special requests. They catered our last family Passover Seder and did a wonderful job with very unique recipe requests. Matzo ball soup, brisket, tzimmes, kugel, the works! It was all outstanding. They will be catering my Rosh Hashanah cocktail party as well and we can't wait. Get on April's calendar if you have an event coming up. They are reasonably priced and the food is delish.

We know from when she bowled at Pin palace bowling center with my boys, we got a chance to try her baked goods when we saw her at the craft show at the civic center yesterday. The cinnamon rolls were delicious! The cookies we got were very tasty!!
