Pier 51 Seafood Restaurant

We haven't eaten here since before COVID. We were very impressed with everything. The food was great, everything came out fast and HOT 🔥! Our waitress was great, quick to get our orders and to bring out the drinks. I had the White Fish, Popcorn Shrimp & Fries. My wife had the White Fish Bites (new), Onion Rings & a Salad. As the photos show, you get large portions of food.Very please with everything. Taste great! We'll be back. Looked nice & clean inside & there is plenty of parking.

I will preface with this, I do not like fish restaurants. This was a family members birthday choice. Saying that, the place was perfectly fine. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was what you expect in a fish restaurant. I had the double cheeseburger with bacon and it was fine. Fries were surprisingly very good. I can not stress enough that the waitress was fantastic dealing with our 20+ part members. If you enjoy fish restaurants give it a shot.

We've been loyal customers of Pier 51 for nearly nine years and have always appreciated many of the changes and improvements over time. However, we've recently noticed a decline in the quality of the food—particularly with items like the onion rings, which have unfortunately changed for the worse. What’s most disappointing is the new charge for condiments like ketchup, especially when dining in. While we understand the need for adjustments in operations, this feels like a step too far and has impacted our overall dining experience. We’re sharing this feedback because we’ve truly enjoyed coming here over the years, but sadly, these recent changes are causing us—and others we know—to reconsider returning. We hope this helps in some way and that you’ll take it into consideration.

First time customer and I can truly say that for the amount of seafood you get in the platters are worth the price!!! Seafood was seasoned beautifully and fried to perfection! Fried okra and hush puppies were tasty. My only gripe was the broccoli wasn't seasoned and my baked potato was without any toppings, just a plain potato😔 Overall, I'd return for the seafood!
