If you have a boat or access to one, this is a must see. We anchored out about 150 ft from the island and were able to walk to it in waist deep water with our 3 dogs and a cooler (one at a time). Very chill spot for just relaxing and letting your dogs run free in the middle of the ocean. We went in a Tuesday and only 3 other boats anchored and came on the island in the several hours we were there. Most had dogs also, so our pups really enjoyed the day. Bring along a “sign” with your name and hometown to nail to one of the trees. Apparently that is a thing there!
Loved this tiny island Newfound Harbor. Enjoyed a swim and small walk. Clear water and a small white sand beach. Visited on Friday morning and we were the only boat there.
We loved it. Keep a close watch with the tide. We got stuck till the tide came back in.
Great little island that you can only get to by boat or jet ski.
Sweet spot to pull up in the sand bar. Seen stingrays and jelly fish.
