Picnic Area (No Restrooms)

I like this spot. It offers a taste of the past history & what this spot was used for in the late 1800's & early 1900's. What was near here anyways. The view is nice. Not easy to access if your going towards Fort Stockton. You'll have to go to the Highway 67 San Angelo exit then come back to get here. Not as complicating going towards Ozona. Worth the stop either way whether your headed east or west.

Enough room to walk your dog, interesting history

We travel through this area back in March and I was disappointed on the upkeep. What was disheartening is the fact that no one picked up any of the garbage and there was paper and trash blowing all over the place. I thought the state of Texas advertised don’t mess with Texas

People do their need 💩 behind the wall look like no one clean the interior of the rooms there should be a nice place if the keepers empty the garbage can too

Miles to see. Especially if you can see the sunsets and sunrises from here. They are exactly like the pic's in a magazine. Big and full of bright & vivid colors that will amaze you.
