Pickens County Library

Friendly and helpful staff make visiting this library a joy. The children's area is fairly separated from the rest of the library, making the naturally noiser nature of children more contained. The children's area has plenty of seating for reading, coloring, or other activities, as well as floor space for blocks and toys kept by the windows. A very thoughtful and enjoyable space. There is a gathering/crafting room with some basic supplies, as well as legos for some creative outlets. Teens have a space of their own, and there are a number of private study rooms. Parking is never a problem and we've enjoyed many of the programs given by the library.

My daughter and I love spending time at this library. The building is nice and clean and the staff is always nice and helpful. We use Libby for audiobooks and ebooks, but my daughter just realized the power of putting a hold on a real book and having it transferred from another library. 🤣

The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They just renovated the building and it is very nice, clean, and organized. Highly recommend you stop in and check it out!

To a 77 year Senior, Shanna's extensive computer experience was extremely helpful. Looking forward to future computer classes for Seniors. Much needed. So lost without this guidance. Just call for personal assistance.
