Great food, good atmosphere, overall a good experience. If you're looking for a good local restaurant with friendly, casual staff, this is the place for you! Pancakes are huge and tasty. I could only eat part of mine before I got full!

First of all, I rarely post reviews unless an experience is notable, one way or the other. Usually they are very positive reviews. This was my first time eating from Annie’s. I looked them up online where the menu indicated prices for all items. I called ahead and ordered a plate with meat + 3 sides, which showed a price of $8.50. A menu at the register when I picked up my order showed same plate as being $1.00 higher, now up to $9.50. Then, when my meal was totaled on register, it was another $0.50 more for the plate, now up to $10.00. The fried chicken was very bland and dry. Could not blame it on time of day, as I was there at 11:30 a.m. just as lunch service was getting started. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant and also had no flavor, other than the gravy on top. It was our first time visiting here and I'm glad we chose it. When I'm on vacation, I love trying local, mom and pop restaurants for breakfast. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. My eggs and grits were perfect. Most importantly...the coffee was good and strong. I will definitely come back here next time we're in the area. Also, I noticed the menu options for lunch looked pretty darn good...I just might come back for lunch before we head out of town.

We were in town visiting on October 7, 2023 and wanted some breakfast and this place was recommended. It’s a small mom/pops business located in an industrial area. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The waitress came to take our orders once we were seated. The food was good. I was a little skeptical because it was majority Caucasians. No I’m not racist. The food was good and it didn’t take long to get our orders. I would return and I would recommend.

I was in the area for business and wanted to find a local lunch place. I was seated quickly and service was quick and helpful. Waitress gave me daily specials and recommendations. I went with Fried Chicken, Mashed potatoes, Mac and Cheese and biscuit. All homemade for less than $9! For .50 more you get dessert - strawberry shortcake. All were very good and I couldn’t finish it all. What a value! I will be back!
