Phở Chú Hải - Pho N Grill in Illinois

I almost ate my entire bowl of pho before snapping a picture, haha. It was delicious! From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed. The service was friendly and helpful. Prices couldn't be beat and we were so pleasantly surprised at the servings. The Bahn Mi was phenomenal, so much in fact we ordered five to go for the family. The owner (I think) even suggested we take it home deconstructed and told us the best way to heat it back up! We live a bit away, but we will be back!

The place was amazing. Our server was a young girl who was super kind and helpful. The bún bò huế was super delicious especially on a cold winter day. We will definitely be coming back!!

Have had two To-Go orders, one through DoorDash and one through pick up. First order was AMAZING - exactly what I was looking for. Lots of beef, amazing flavor and a bunch of veggies. The perfect bowl of Pho. Second order was underwhelming. They must have two different chefs because I honestly thought I had ordered from another place the taste was so different. The second order’s broth was pretty sweet and needed a lot of help. I also only got carrots and lettuce as my veggies in this order which seems lacking for the $5 up charge. A little confusing since usually there’s broccoli, onions, etc when I add on veggies. Strangely enough, one was delivered and the other picked up, yet the price was the exact same. The food and atmosphere was great! The workers were friendly and I enjoyed my time. However, we did find a hair in the nước mắm and I noticed the workers weren’t too mindful about keeping their hands outside the dishes (their fingers were gripping inside the food bowls). Overall, it was still a great experience.

Great bun bo hue! Good price good portion, and ready really quick! Just needs to be spicier. Will return to try their bahn min and pho.
