I went to UMD from 2015-2019 and Pho Thom was always my absolute favorite, go-to spot with my boyfriend. Finally, after years, we went back and had lunch at the new location. While the vibes aren’t exactly the same as they were at the old location, the food was just as phenomenal as I remember. We shared the thom wings, thom ka ga, and pad thai and it all brought back such great memories. Seriously the best Thai food around!

The pho shrimp was really good. Could have more noodles IMO. The garden rolls were good, but they could also stand to have more noodles and veggies too. I wish the peanut sauce was a little spicier (I can't even believe I'm saying that) but it's just too peanutbuttery sweet. I tried the chicken satay too but forgot to take a photo. Very juicy! I've been twice now and I still want to try more. Very quick service for lunch.

Food is spectacular. Their chicken wings are really good, especially the sauce they use. The servers are usually at the front desk if the customers need anything. The prices are very affordable for the portion that they have.

Today I took my daughter to the University of Maryland to retake her graduation photos. Afterward, we stopped by Pho Thom for dinner. My daughter said Pho Thom is a well-known spot near the UMD College Park MD. We easily found the restaurant and parked at the nearby CVS lot, just a one-minute walk away. Pho Thom recently reopened in a newly renovated space. The design feels modern and clean, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The owner warmly welcomed us and shared that they’ve been running the business for about 15 years. They moved from their old location to this beautifully updated space. We ordered a bowl of Vietnamese beef noodle soup and a shrimp Pad Thai. I’ve tried pho at other places before, but the broth often tasted too heavy with MSG or seasoning, leaving my mouth dry. After
