The food here is absolutely delicious. The pho broth is so flavorful. Eggrolls are crispy and delicious. Our server was very nice. You can tell he is having to do everything and it's a lot of work for one person but he is doing a great job. I'm so happy we found Vietnamese food in Cookeville. It was a real treat. Highly recommend!
Would return. This hidden Tennessee gem surprisingly falls on the authentic side of Midwest/Southern attempts at pho and broken rice. The spring rolls were passable and actually elevated by the warm peanut sauce. The beef pho veggies were missing basil, but the broth really did hit the spot after a long day of travel, and the noodles went down easy as well. The beef short rib and rice was put together nicely and the fish sauce hit all the notes, even if not super strong. The Thai tea probably came out of a concentrate, but nothing was wrong with it. The wooden chopsticks splintered my mom’s finger but came out without a fuss. People on other reviews complained about the plastic utensils but they weren’t problematic for us. The cashier played server and was taking phone-in orders, doing abo
The pho broth offered a truly exceptional and refined flavor. The chicken bánh mì was excellent—tender, well-prepared, and pleasantly light in texture. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and welcoming. The young owner was courteous, energetic, and highly professional, making the din
I visited this restaurant and had the fresh spring rolls, which were excellent. The peanut dipping sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was clean, warm, and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I will certainly recommend this restaurant to others.
Pho Kitchen is a wonderful spot for comforting, flavorful food. The chicken pho had a rich, soothing broth that was exactly what I was craving — especially when you’re not feeling your best and want something warm and nourishing like chicken noodle soup. The flavor was delicious and very satisfying. I was a little surprised by the portion of chicken included, as I expected a bit more protein in the bowl considering the price. That said, the overall meal was still excellent. The real standout for me was the ginger tea — it was fantastic and made with actual fresh ginger, which you can truly taste. It felt restorative and paired perfectly with the pho. Overall, a great experience with comforting flavors, and I will definitely be back — especially for that ginger tea!
