Phinix Mediterranean Kitchen Cambridge

Came in with my daughter for a late lunch. I am a Cambridge resident and it is funny how this small block has THREE mediterranean restaurants within a stone's throw- but I think Phinix may be my favorite. I got a chicken builder plate. Tasty and well priced. My daughter was delighted with their vegan options - falafel and dolma tasted fresh and bright, not soggy or heavy like you sometimes get elsewhere. Also she loved the really awesome green wall inside with a neon Phinix sign - cute to take Instagram selfies!

Stopped in on a weekday for lunch (not my first time) - what excites me is the available parking right outside — huge plus in Cambridge (where my car spent a week under the snow from the recent blizzard). Staff were friendly and the Mediterranean food is the real deal: I ordered the Builder Chicken Plate - one of their larger lunch offerings. The taste was consistent and excellent and it came with 6 pcs of protein. Very happy. Clean space and fair prices. A dependable spot I keep coming back to.

Came through for the anniversary special promo they had and absolutely no regrets. Met the owner and heard the story — started 10 years ago in Belmont, leveled up through Waltham, now holding it down in Cambridge. Respect the long-term grind. Spot’s not huge and the decor is basic, but we’re not here for chandeliers. We’re here to fuel. Plates come out piping hot, portions are legit, and the special pricing makes it easy to load up without hurting the wallet. Perfect place to refuel after a lift.
