I love this place, will always stop in if I need a quick bite. The food is delicious, they are fast and friendly! I always get the combination (chicken and lamb) over rice, with chickpeas and salad. Don't forget the white sauce and if you like it spicy their hot sauce is the perfect addition! Their portions are extremely generous especially for the price. It's always a hard choice between getting samosas or their falafel. Most times we get both. The combos even come with a drink. It's crazy the options and food quality coming out of this little food cart. Conveniently located in the Citgo gas station parking lot. Always plenty of parking!
This halal cart is a quick and convenient stop for lunch or dinner. Stopped there while driving through and they are conveniently located at a gas station, so parking is no issue. As for the food, would recommend the chicken gyro. It was very flavorful, and I enjoyed the twist that the BBQ sauce brought.
This is the BEST food cart around. Clean, fresh & outrageous amount of food. They certainly have quantity and quality! Their chicken & chickpeas with falafel over rice with salad and white sauce on the sides DONT FORGET THE SAMOSA (spicy but AMAZING) I love the woman who works their she’s very kind!
You guys really raved about the food truck in the Citgo parking lot so here we go. I never in my life will order chick peas but these added some nice flavor to the mix. Definitely give the chick peas a try if you are like me and don't really eat them. The lamb and rice itself are pretty similar to the other food truck but I can see that between the chick peas and it comes with a soda is a better offer for the same price. I listened and said lite on the hot sauce. I'm glad that I finally tried these food trucks because I was getting sick of eating the same foods for lunch.
I needed gas and happened to see this small food trailer with a few customers, the aroma coming from the food was amazing. I had never had halal food before so while there was no line I walked over to check it out. The woman working allowed me to taste the chicken and it was delicious. I asked how it was served and she said I'll make you a combination platter. She piled up a container with a seasoned long grain rice with chickpeas in a sauce, a big scoop of seasoned chicken and a scoop of cubed lamb. She recommended the white sauce on everything but not knowing what it was I asked for just a little. Hands down one of the tastiest meals I've had and extremely filling from the large portion. Update: September '25 I happened to be in Wilkes-Barre again today and I saw the food truck, There wa
