Phileo's Coffee and Eatery

Good luck. Turkey cheese panini was mostly toast. One paper thin slice of turkey barely any cheese. No dressing. Nice atmosphere but no Christmas music. Bathroom wastebaskets were overflowing at 1 pm. Great location hopefully things will improve.

Phileo's was a sweet atmosphere but the food was just ok. We had breakfast items; including the eggs, bacon and cinnamon rolls and Carmel roll. The eggs weren't fluffy or seasoned. But the bacon was delicious and crispy. Unfortunately, for a coffee shop the coffee was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it. We tried the drip coffee, hot latte and iced coffee. All three were below par with a acid under tone and burned taste. I hope you have a better experience on your trip through this sweet downtown.

I was very depressed when going today for lunch. I ordered the Southwest Turkey Bacon cheese. With this new management they must have seriously downgraded their product. To pay 11.95 for this was an outrage. There was two very thin deli sliced turkey and one slice of cheese and three small strips of bacon on it. The southwest mayo was ok there was a decent amount of that but paying 11.95 for that little on the sandwich is horrible I could have gone to subway for better. I used to love going to eat here but now I’m turned off because of it. And they got rid of my favorite sandwich as well, we drove from sleepy eye to come eat here and I’m very upset and not happy that it was $30 for two very little sandwiches and soup.

Best positive coffee experience anywhere. Lots of space. Relaxing. Good food great staff. Beautiful decor smiles everywhere and by the way some of the best coffee in the midwest. You have to come here for the first time or again and again. We loved our first and will be back.

The AWC salad was delicious. They give refills on their lemonade and they have pastries. For their sandwiches, they have a gluten free option. They are open until 3pm, but the kitchen closes at 2pm.
