Peruvian Charcoal Chicken & Wings

“This chicken is seasoned to the bone”. Wow so flavorful. String beans were fresh just a perfect plate. This is NOT all they have. They have a broad selection of food, from fried, selections, bowls, sandwiches it’s surely a one stop shop. If you are ever in the area be sure to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed…

When I entered the establishment I was immediately greeted, this was my first time as a customer. The gentleman waited patiently and answered any question I had about items on the menu. The establishment when very clean and for me there was no wait. I would go back and hopefully dine in to get the whole experience.

3rd times a charm. Gave this place 3 chances due to its convenience. Not only have I waiting 15+ min each time but the food has been awful each time. The only way I think this place would be remotely pleasing is if I smoked a joint before eating here. I’d have to be high as a kite and starving for it to even be worth another visit. 23$ for a “NY strip” which I think might have actually been the quad muscle of a pit bull.

2⭐️ We’ve tried this place a couple of times now. The service is just so so, don’t expect much. The food is also just okay to me. My husband really likes the lamb chops from here. I don’t think the chicken is good. I think the sides are all gross. The wings are okay, and the fish is okay. The lamb is decent, I didn’t hate their lamb over rice. But I also wouldn’t keep coming here just for that. And no matter what you are going to have to wait for your order. So you might as well just walk in and order your food and wait. If you just wanted something quick and easy… this isn’t the place, go somewhere else 🤣 I personally do not recommend.

I don’t give 5 stars too often but this place! It is so nice to have a healthy alternative that is (sort of) fast, the price is right and the flavor is on point. Finally the Peruvian goodness that you find in NOVA and DC made it to Hampton Roads. Open 24 hours for your late night craving. I had the quarter chicken and the lamb chops. Both were excellent. Lamb chops are small so if you are a big eater don’t order them but the flavor was on point!
