Customer Reviews
We absolutely love Persis Indian Grill in Greenville! We come here pretty regularly and it is consistently incredible. The food is so flavorful, rich, and perfectly spiced every single time. For dinner, we almost always order the Butter Chicken or the Chicken Tikka Masala because they are just that good. We honestly haven’t made it through the rest of the entrées yet since we keep going back to our favorites. But we do try a new appetizer every time, and I can’t even pick a favorite because they’re all so delicious. There are so many different flavors and dishes to explore, which makes every visit fun. The Garlic Naan is a must, and the mango lassi is such a treat. We love it every time. The service is excellent, and the staff is so warm and welcoming, especially with kids, which we rea
We had such an amazing experience at Persis Biryani Indian Grill tonight! After just a few visits, it is officially our hands down favorite Indian anywhere in the Greenville area. Cami, the owner, creates such a warm and friendly environment and the food is simply outstanding. I usually indulge in their paneer tikka masala, which I love, but this time I had the dosa with potatoes, mint chutney and a sambar soup. Superb. We also had a cauliflower gobi Manchurian and a biryani chicken 65. I should’ve taken more pics of the food but I was so overwhelmed while eating, it totally slipped my mind! The dosa is award winning in Greenville and I now know why. We left full and extremely happy. Try it- you will love it too!
This restaurant has tasty food, great service and a nice atmosphere. What more could you want? We had no idea why we were the only ones dining in on Monday for lunch. Ordering the lunch specials was easy because there were only 4 combos available (but the menu has many more options). I selected the vegetable combo and it had a nicely spiced vegetable curry. My lunch date selected the Tikka masala with chicken. This dish was tasty and very mildly spiced in a creamy tomato base. Each combo came with Basmati rice, naan bread, lentil crisp, fried veggies, dessert, and a very powerful chai tea. Super yummy! Try it out. They offer a buffet lunch on different days. I almost forgot to take a picture. This one was taken after I dove in!
Persis Biryani Indian Grill has THE BEST Indian food that I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala quick lunch combo that comes with chai tea and dessert. The tea is a personal blend that Cami, the owner, created. Delicious isn’t a powerful enough adjective to describe the food and drinks. What word is better than delicious? The food is brilliantly seasoned, not over powering, just right. I will be telling all my friends about this place. I feel so luck to have found this charming restaurant. Btw- they have won numerous awards for their incredible dishes. They have an all you can eat buffet on weekends. They are also running a BOGO for new customers. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
I come almost every sunday for the buffet and it is always great! They consistently have good familiar options in either chicken tikka masala or butter chicken. They also have offerings that I'm less familiar with, but always impressed when I try them. This sunday they had shrimp masala and some spiced grits which made for a PHENOMENAL shrimp and grits fusion dish. The dosa station is always amazing. Anyone looking to try indian cuisine, but aren't sure where to start, should come here. You won't be dissappointed!
