Perry County Times

This is a local newspaper that many in Perry County turn to for hometown news and events. I would love to give it a better review for its commitment, support and local news information that many of us enjoy but unfortunately, I cannot. This paper has an opinion writer ( Wade Fowler) who repeatedly spouts very strong opinions that do not sit well with many of us here in Perry County. I do understand that his job is to voice his opinion, but his opinion is very one sided politically and quite frankly- extremely offensive to many as demonstrated by the results of this last election. This paper is a good read for local news here in Perry County but a hard read for those who wish to avoid this type of mainstream media political left leaning rhetoric.

The newspaper gives some okay information about the county.
