We live right down the street from Mamas and eat here regularly. The food is always delicious, and everyone has always been so kind, welcoming, and friendly to us. They keep the restaurant so clean, and the food is absolutely always fresh. My husband worked out of state for several years and I’d buy a bunch of Italian subs when I would go to see him because he loves them so much- he always said he couldn’t find one better on the road.
Came here after a day of bowling at Perry lanes. Tried here for the first time and when I walked in it was very clean and well organized and I had high expectations. Me and my girlfriend ordered our food and the guy who took our order wasn’t the nicest but he wasn’t the worst (if you understand what I’m saying). He told us 20 to 25 minutes which the wait time was fine. It was exactly what he said and I have no complaints on that. The food however was not anything that we were expecting. It was very soggy and floppy and the cheese just peeled off the pizza and ended up just turning into a triangle of crust and marinara. The flavor wasn’t bad but even folding the pizza the cheese just slipped right off. The crust was pretty good though. If it was put in the oven a little longer personally I’
I ordered a sub tonight, and I really excepted better from mammas pizza. They usually have one of the best pizza and subs in the county. But this was obviously burnt before it was sent out. I understand shit happens, but to sell it like this is ignorant. And everytime I go in there I feel almost as if I’m unwelcomed. Like I shouldn’t be ordering food. No kindness and carelessness. I’m very disappointed
Two guys who worked there (one seemed to been the owner) were the rudest people I think I've ever encountered in my life. I hope they don't actually live in Perry County because they don't belong in PC where people are kind and respectful to one another. I was appalled at how they treated my friend and also another customer. I tried to approach them calmly and kindly because you never know if people are having a bad day or fighting some kind of personal battle. I asked them to help me understand what happened, and they were rude to me, as well. I stated that it felt like they were upset with us, and he said, "You don't need to feel anything. I don't feel anything." And the other guy told me to "just go sit down and eat your meal." But there was more to the story in how rude they were to my
Consistent for over 30 years!!! I can’t find a pizza place close in Duncannon so I travel here because it’s still the same. Great tasting and well baked pie!
