Perrot Memorial Library

The most charming library ever. Small but cozy. Very nice folks working here. Kids area is terrific with not stuffed animals and a breeze atmosphere. If you're in the area, check it out. They accept Stamford library cards after a brief registration process.

This public library provides a modest collection with accessible parking. The two wings of the building separate the Children's and Adult areas. A fire place warms the quiet shared study area. Across the hall provides 60 minute free-use desktop computers with 10¢ black and white printing. Cozy arm chairs provide reading spaces on the ground level.

This library is wonderful. So peaceful easy to do your work especially business. Quiet comfortable rooms with museum type decor. Old paintings, old clocks, large windows.and comfy lounge chairs. Theres a children side and a adult side entrance. I stop in here often. Please note if you want to print must go to front desk.

BEWARE...DO NOT GO TO THIS LIBRARY IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR. BEWARE October 3, 2019 time between 3-4 PM I came to the library today because my sister needed to finish her job application. As we went into the computer room it was a full house with all the computers in use except for three. We decided to use the two computer up front. As we are using the computer after an hour the librarian comes up to us and says we have to leave because we were on the computer the longest. As we turned around and looked the exact same people who were on the computers prior to us coming ( all non colored) were still there. We told the librarian its impossible for us to be on the computer the longest when at least 6 of the original people were still on the computer . She could care less about what we

The Perrot Library is in Old Greenwich and is not to be confused with the much larger Greenwich Library on Putnam Avenue. While smaller it still has an excellent collection of library and lots of local history. It seems like Katherine Hepburn is going to come around the corner any minute and take her place on a large armchair by the fireplace mantle.
