Perkins American Food Co.

I was extremely disappointed in breakfast today and very hungry after a busy night working. Every time we've gone in the past my eggs over medium have been cooked perfectly and the service was great, but today was terrible. My yolk was cooked completely on both of my eggs for my husband and I and my toast was burnt. I gave 1 star because the bacon was decent, but our waitress never came back to see if we needed anything or ask why I didn't touch my food. She did come back to not make eye contact and give us the check and walk walk away without saying anything. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Our server was a sweetheart and the perfect amount of attentive. Food was quick and delicious. Pot roast was so tender. I had carrot cake for dessert, was good but would of been better warmed a little instead of cold from the cooler. Hardly something to complain about though.

Great customer service. Food presentation was well performed. Taste was great too. Clean and well organized great work.

My husband and I decided to stop for breakfast this morning, and we’re glad we did. The food was absolutely perfect. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the service we received from Maria. From the moment we sat down, Maria made us feel genuinely welcomed. She wasn’t just friendly, she was attentive without being intrusive and struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. She checked in at all the right times, made sure we had everything we needed, and did it all with such a positive and kind demeanor. It’s not every day that you come across someone who clearly loves what they do and takes pride in making others feel taken care of. Perkins is lucky to have her. We’ll absolutely be back.

I'll give a total of 3 stars, here is my break down... Front Staff - 5 stars Cleanliness - 5 stars Wait staff - 5 stars Food - 1 star, was cold and not good. Unfortunately we ate it and didn't send it back due to being in a rush. But I wouldn't go back. Biscuits were hard, gravy cold, eggs over cooked. No cheese in the omelet ( I asked for shredded cheese not sliced) Overall just wasn't happy with the food here.
