Perfect Pollo Peruvian & Tex-Mex

I visited Perfect Pollo today after my son recommended it to me. Thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience here. Friendly and courteous staff. The fish ceviche has me wanting to come back again for lunch tomorrow! And the horchata was delightful. I'll be back!

This is not real Peruvian Chicken !!! Driving through visiting family , stopped for dinner . It was empty felt odd , ordered 1/4 dark with two sides . My chicken was so old I didn’t eat it ! The skin was hard to chew my sides i see many reviews saying the same thing ! I ordered yuca fries you get 5 and I ordered fajita vegetables which was a small container of onions . Small piece of old chicken . Most Peruvian places that sell this type of chicken . Have an open kitchen you can smell and see the chicken cooking that is not the case for this place you can’t see a kitchen or smell charcoal chicken cooking 😳 more of a bar hangout . this is one of my new favorite international restaurants in Fredericksburg! im from richmond, which has chicken fiesta, and this is extremely similar but insanely better! i got the fried fish (i know i know) with yucca and fries. the yucca was a bit dry but everything else was delicious! my family loved the chicken and the wide variety of options here! 🦇

I'm i'm a huge fan of Peruvian food, but this was the first time we had been to this placw. Man, oh man, was it outstanding and I can't wait to go back. The setup on the inside is amazing and the chicken is out of this world. They have a pretty extensive menu with things like fajitas and quesadillas but since it was our first time going there, we decided to keep it simple. We got a 1 half chicken dark and then 1 half chicken regular, and they were both insanely delicious. This was my son's first foray into Peruvian food and he said it was some of the best chicken he had ever had in his life. We did mashed potatoes, Green Beans, black Beans and the Fried Rice and all of the sides were outstanding. An absolute gem of a place and can't wait for the next trip!

The food was delicious and tasted authentic, and it had generous sides. This place also had authentic decor. The service was also excellent. The staff was polite and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely stop by again when I’m in town.
