Peppy's Ice Cream Shop

They have Hershey's ice cream and soft serve. Very good service and my Blueberry Sundae special was delicious. My friend had the Twix Flurry special which was excellent. Lots of shady seating.

We stopped in today 8-30-25. The sign said open, the door and service window was open but there wasn't an employee in sight. We waited a few minutes yet no one showed up. Did the employee just abandon ship?

A great place to get a treat or quick bite. They have hotdogs, pretzels, nachos, burgers. A large variety of hard and soft ice cream plus shakes, floats, and slushies. The outside dining areas are lovely; picnic tables and also metal tables and chairs with umbrellas for shade. Parking lot is large but be careful of getting boxed in on a busy day by people who park right behind you. I took 1 star off because of the high prices! $7 for a rootbeer float is much more expensive than other ice cream shops in the area.

Very nice small town ice cream stand, the ice cream selection was amazing as well as the flavor and quality of the ice cream. A must do summer evening refresher. 😋
