Pepos Burrito Bar

Ever since the current crew has taken over, the atmosphere has changed. The customer service has went way down. The portions have gotten smaller(Athens location has not changed portion size). Also, they had tried to charge me an extra almost $3 for getting a kids meal to go and charged me for extra meat when I didn’t receive or ask for any. The cashier didn’t want to remove the charges until I said I was going to leave without paying for or taking the food. This place still has good food but the service is not good any more.

After going for a couple years , and at least every two weeks the price allways changing , up then down , the food is great if ya get enough anymore ? Ask for more lettuce you’re paying way much more ! I noticed Athens reastaraunt is the best!

We have really enjoyed coming in over the past couple of years. We have noticed though that the quality of things has become more and more lax. The last few times we have gone in, the person taking our order had difficulty understanding and taking our orders (which were just plain menu items where we chose our meat). The tables haven’t been bussed in a timely manner, and this last time we had to tell them there was nowhere to sit and someone came out and bussed a table for us. The women’s bathroom toilet did not flush. When I took the back off, the handle was rigged with a stretched out rubber band that didn’t pull enough to make it flush. I hope the owners are able to address and rectify some of these issues as we have enjoyed coming in the past and would like to look forward to coming

Delicious food, great value. Don't have to pay extra for guac, queso, or chips, and variety of toppings includes cucumbers, cilantro, green peppers, onions... They've got those edible taco shell bowls... They sell Jarrito's... It makes sense that there's no Chipotle or other Mexican fast casual in the area, because they wouldn't be able to compete with Pepo's. No photos because I was too hungry and gobbled it down.

I work in the area so I come here very often. The price and the food used to be very good. I slowed down a lot eating here because the price has stayed the same but the portions have went to a kids meal. $13 gets you 3 bites of chicken and 4 grains of rice. Tonight will be my last time blowing money here.
