Penny’s Place

This little hole in the wall place offers a small buffet but hardy. The cornbread needs to be softer. But the beans were great and the salad refreshed and dressing was very good the taco casserole has mushrooms but I found it well seasoned. The pork chop was nice with a thin breading.

Great Place for Lunch I had the pleasure of stopping into Penny's Plae for lunch earlier this year. I was in the Newport area for business and I went with a business colleague from the area. The Restaurant is easy to find, just off a main road. The Restaurant is fairly new and has a buffet at lunch with many offerings. There is a salad bar with many selections, and a hot table serving meats and other hot foods. I tried the barbecue chicken and the tender juicy deep-fried pork chops which were out of this world. This is great place to have lunch and I would go back.

I ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich and fried mushrooms. They were delicious. The mushroom order should have been a little bigger for the price. The waitress was very friendly.

Penny's Place was a nice family and friends location for good food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere. Friendly service with a smile, regular service checks. YES! To Penny's Place!

We drove from walnut ridge to eat here and it was terrible nothing on the buffet,after 20min they brought some eggs and some biscuits never any beacon the whole time we were there we talked to another couple from batesville and they were gonna ask for part of there money back because it was not a buffet when there's nothing on it. If you have to go eat somewhere else after eating at a buffet that's bad. Won't be back!!!....
