Jackson County Library

For the most part I would say that the workers in this library are very Lazy. Also, as a tax paying citizen and library card holder I expect to receive the same benefits as the other libraries in this state. For over 4 years I have been trying to get the library to offer Hoopla a FREE service that doesn't cost the library or it's patrons a cent. I have contacted Hoopla and they informed me that all the library has to do is contact them and request to be added to the list. However, they don't seem to either know how to manage a simple task or they just don't care about doing it at all. Either way it's cheating their patrons and my tax dollars pay their salaries.

This is seriously the BEST library we have ever been to! The staff is always super friendly and helpful with whatever you may need! One of my kids has a special interest in becoming a veterinarian when he is older. They didn't have any books at his age level available. They ended up ordering some books at his learning level for him to check out!!! They truly go above and beyond and are so so so amazing! We love them!

I love this place. I love all libraries but when I saw two pigeons hanging out when I was upstairs looking out the window is when I really started liking it (I'm originally from Chicago). Don't know if they are still there that was years ago. The service here is impeccable. They will assist you with anything you could possibly think of. Aside from books I have also utilized the copier, printer, internet, children's programs, and genealogy research. Always worth a trip to a library! Check them out.

They're open and doing their part to keep things safe and sanitized. They ask you to get some hand sanitizer when you come in. You can still use the computers and services.

Very nice staff, and will help you anything you need. They give you at least 2 week to rent a movie or a book.
