My university brought in Penny Lick as a vendor during an event and handed out free ice cream vouchers. I tried their chocolate flavor, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. After that first taste, I’m definitely planning to visit their shop in person to try more flavors!
Cute little ice cream store in downtown Hastings-on-Hudson. Visited on July 4th just before closing. I tried the lavender truffle and the BF tried the dark chocolate coconut (vegan) - both very good. There were a few tables in a back room to sit at, a table and window benches up front and a couple of benches outside. The service was not great, but it was the end of a holiday day and I'm sure they were trying to get out of there to try to enjoy the rest of the evening.
Pretty good ice cream with plenty of unique interesting flavors (20 with 3 vegan). Great texture with some nice options with mix-ins and best of all, prices are good (3 scoops for $6.25). They allow sampling, have a nice rewards program, sell premium ice cream cakes and pints as well ($9.50). Definitely recommend. I got the Lavender truffle, blueberry jam and sophisticated s'mores. All three were quite good with the s'mores being my favorite. Their vegan chocolate coconut and strawberry lemonade were also quite good.
We hired Penny Lick Ice Cream for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! The cart looked amazing and added such a fun touch to the day. This is a nice little ice cream shop with friendly staff and a good variety of flavours. There’s also some rotating seasonal flavour options. I had a scoop of the blueberry jam ice cream and it was tasty, although slightly icy. My wife had the honeycomb ice cream and that one was really good. There’s also options to purchase pre-packaged pints. I definitely look forward to returning to try some of the other flavours.
