Penn Station East Coast Subs

Last night I stopped by this Waynesville location. I wish I never experience this. After placing my order and receiving my sandwich, I was very disappointed to see that it contained barely any meat or other ingredients. The sandwich looked empty and was nowhere near the quality I would expect for the price I paid. When I politely asked the waitress why my sandwich looked the way it did, she did not respond, offer an explanation, or apologize. Instead, she turned around and walked away. This lack of basic customer service was unacceptable and made the situation even more frustrating. Between the poor food quality and the dismissive service, this experience fell far below reasonable expectations. After Youth Group, my husband and I stopped in at penn station for dinner. It is always consistent. The fries are crispy, sandwich ingredients were fresh, and it was service with a smile. The manager tonight‘s name is Chuck. He was so personable and energetic. I felt like I could dump all of my life problems on him. Will definitely be back!

Great grilled subs good quality good prices nice friendly staff best fast food in town I highly recommend! The staff was really friendly here. They talk to me like we’ve known each other for years. They explain to me about the potatoes and how many they go through each day because they actually use a machine that they put raw potatoes in and cut the potatoes right there to make their fries and believe me they are amazing. He had me try them with their malted vinegar which I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise, but I take a chance and I’m glad that I did. It was a really good it was a friendly environment. I think it would be fine to bring your family here this experience. I had the Italian sub cooked on the grill and it was really good. I definitely recommend trying that sub.

Love this place! Ate here for the first time ever and the food was amazing! I went into a food coma by the time I exited the building! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The tables were okay but the backs of the chairs were disgusting. They need to be cleaned. Restrooms were clean and everything besides the chairs was great. Will definitely be back, after they order new chairs.

It was just 'okay' for the price. The workers were friendly, food was hot and freshly cooked, but it was kind of bland. Seemed underseasoned. It cost almost $50 for two people to get sandwiches and fries and drinks. The fries were alright but seemed like they needed more salt.
