Penn State Altoona

A friend of mine and I went to Altoona Penn State for visiting, and we found that the scenery is very beautiful and the buildings has its own flavor or style. In short, this is a small but beautiful place and it‘s worth for a visit if you come to Altoona.

Whenever trains get done training or whatever they're doing we are screwed

Just watch during school time they give tickets even if parked in visitor spot like supposed to. I know people had to go to office about it.

I'd only live here if you have no choice or want to save money. I feel like I was lied to or something, this place is 'okay' but I wouldn't say very beautiful, especially because when it gets cold all the leaves are gone so it hasn't been looking great. The surrounding town also is not very good. I wish I chose any other university I got accepted to if it meant not living here. I know the people here are trying their best to make it nice for students and I appreciate it, but there is a limit to what is possible to improve this place. Escape. I physically cannot eat the food here anymore but I have to pay the meal plan to live here. Surrounding off-campus living is atrocious.

I have 3 degrees, all from PSU Altoona - and would HAPPILY go back for a 4th ... If only education were not sooooo expensive
