Pelican’s SnoBalls-Labelle

First time at this location and it’s my new favorite! They were playing worship music and I was so pleasantly surprised to see this prayer box. The girl working was very sweet and everything was delicious! Highly, highly recommend!

Normally, I am not a snow cone fan, but every once in a while, when I have a tiny craving or want something cold I get one. This particular day, it was my daughter that insisted I try one and so to make her happy I did… I felt like the character from Green Eggs and Ham, and the ending was just the same! I loved my strawberry cream snow cone! 🍧 every single drop of it was so delicious and so flavorful. I literally felt like I was eating a delightful dessert, but with a chill. Visited for the first time with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the snowballs. To be honest, I've never been a huge fan of sno-cones, but this is a different creature, entirely. The restaurant's little history sign makes sure you understand that. These are not sno-cones. These are "fluffy shaved ice". Finer. More decadent. The snowballs have far more options than any sno-cone you've likely had. They eat a lot like ice cream, but with a lighter texture that really does sort of come across like floofy, uncompacted snow. The atmosphere of the area is one of relaxed family fun. My new favorite stop when in Labelle! The customer service was excellent and I loved the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. There was even a play area for young children. Our server was very informative and friendly! Although there was at least a hundred choices, I played it safe my first visit and picked the wild cherry flavor and my husband got the root beer float flavor. Delicious! Not your typical shave ice. This shave ice has the texture of an icecream or an Italian shave ice with traditional shave ice flavor! Also, I never knew you could combine whipped cream, icecream, and toppings with shave ice (if you so wish) and have it taste so good! I 10/10 will be recommending this place to friends and family! Great place for desert. They have a lot of options I can almost promise you they have the flavor you want. Great place to be. Good places to sit as well.
