Pekin's American Grill

11-7-25 First time here. Definitely not the last! We stopped in after reading the good reviews. Everything we had for breakfast was amazing! The omelettes, the French toast, the pancakes. All excellent! The prices are very fair for the quality that you get. The service and hospitality is awesome! You definitely feel like you are appreciated as a customer! We will be back soon!

This was our first time visiting this place. There weren't many people in there maybe about three couples so there wasn't much of a wait. The waitress came to our table right away and she was polite and helpful. We placed our orders and received our meals within about 15 minutes. The food was good, biscuits were a little bit flat but you could tell that they're homemade. Prices were pretty decent we probably will visit again sometime.

I went for the first time today and the food was amazing! I got stuffed pepper soup and a burger. 10/10!

Heard many great things about this place...food and service was ok. Unfortunately my bisquits and gravy were VERY cold upon arrival. They took it back and got me fresh ones. The bisquits were very thin compared to thick bisquits served many other places. Hash browns and sausage were decent. Our waitress seemed very disinterested in us the whole time. Overall just not a great experience unfortunately.

I went in early one Wednesday before work. The sever, I belive her name was Jannett, was very lovely, I enjoyed seeing her talk to the regulars like they were all friends. Delicious food, everything tasted fresh and home-cooked. I will definitely be coming back. It made this bigger town of Pekin IL, feel like the kindest small town. Five stars
