Peggs Restaurant On the Boulevard

We have always had great service and great food. Tonight... we got our food and my sandwich was less than normal. My roast beef sandwich barely had meat on it. Normally its packed full of meat. My fries were Normally full, this time half full. This will not deter me from ordering from you. This is the first time you ket me down. I know you will not do it again.

What I truly appreciate about Peggs is the employees they are consistently great. Somehow they manage to find the best mannered teenagers around they are always friendly and never act like it's a hassle to help you and I really appreciate that. The pizza is good I prefer it with more sauce but my daughter loves it and the roast beef sandwich is as good as any I've had anywhere.

I would give a higher score, the food can be great at times. Good sandwhiches,good salads and decent st.louis style pizza. The issues I have are with getting orders incorrectly often, slow service at times, dirty tables sometimes even when slow. As far as the food goes I say avoid the pasta, the pastas are runny and not great. Thin sauces and bland flavors. But the pizza is solid and the sandwiches and salads are among the best in the area. They have decent appetizers aswell and a decent variety. I only had a burger here once and it unfortunately was very dry. It may have been a bad day. The pizza would go from solid to great if they were a bit more generous with toppings. The pizza often is a little skimpy on meat, even on a meat lovers you might have one pepperoni or one sausage on each

We had a great dinner at Peggs! Salad was fresh and crisp. House vinaigrette dressing was the perfect blend of sweet and vinegar. Mozzarella sticks came out quickly and we're served hot. Their marinara was just right amount of sweet and tomato. The muffalata sandwich was great with olive relish on the side. We got a half sandwich and it was huge!! Fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, cooked perfectly and quite tasty. Wings were delicious. Alfredo pasta a cooked just right. We ordered at the counter and they brought our food to us, but then we found out they have full service at the table as well. They have a full bar with spirits, wine and beer. Restaurant was clean. Our server was super friendly. Portions were generous and priced appropriately. Ample, wide open seating

Had a group there for my daughter's 8th birthday. It was such a good time. They even had everyone (literally every person in there) sing happy birthday to my daughter. Thanks for making her night! We will definitely be back.
