Peacock Chinese Restaurant

My husband, kids and I are from Texas. We are on a business trip and decided to stop here for dinner. Well the food was so good that now we are back here the next day for lunch. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

We've been coming here regularly since 2020 for takeaway meals. We've liked 90% of the food we ordered here. Their soups in particular are better than the other Chinese-American places in the area. I especially like their vegetable stir-frys. However, their service has gone downhill over the past year. 2 of the last 3 times I ordered an hour in advance and when I went to pick it up it still wasn't ready. I think they need more staff. Two cooks and a cashier isn't enough at dinner time.

I stopped in this restaurant on my last day in town on a business trip and I wasn’t disappointed with my order. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and fried very nice! The veggie fried rice wasn’t really how I like my rice but it made due. I wish I would have tried the egg roll but I only got the rice and chicken. The restaurant was a small little place with the ability to look into the kitchen to see your meal being prepared which is always a PLUS.

Absoulte Best small chinese take out place . Their food is always on point and timely and they do a great job. I swear its the only place that even the vegetables slap its such a classic amerian chinese restaurant and worth the stop and go they even have a couple tables you. Could eat your take out at. All the locals praise this place too.

Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in the area or anywhere in ct very friendly and food is always fresh. Place is clean. I eat here every time I’m out this way. A+++++++
