Pauly Penta's Gourmet Italian

Ordered a chicken parm sandwich. I excepted a chicken cutlet with cheese and sauce heated in an oven on a hard roll , since the sign said hot. Well, instead I got a thin cutlet cut up in pieces with sauce and cheese in a container that was put into a microwave ( And the girl who cut it up wiped the pieces from the cutting board into my container, just what I wanted the bits and pieces of whatever was cut on that board into the container)Yes, I said microwave. It was then poured into the hard roll. The roll was the best part of the sandwich. This was my first time eating here. I was less than impressed.

I have been going to Pauly Penta’s Deli since I was a kid 30 years ago. This deli/restaurant is a family run restaurant and the staff are great. The food is excellent and they have new specials every day. It’s the best Italian food in North Providence and the surrounding area.

Called to order a sub. Gave specifics, gave name. Told ready in 15 mins. Got there, no order, no name, 6 staff standing around Reordered same, but staff had to ask / confirm 3X.. Sub was weak. Little sauce, no cheese. Used to be good product. Not anymore. Avoid..

I came here the other day and got the julienne salad, spinach pie, and the barbecue slice of pizza, I did not like the spinach pie at all, the Julian salad hardly had any meat on it, and I bought the barbecue sliced pizza for my friend and she did not like it at all, sorry but I just wasn't happy with the food this time

The staff was excellent. The young man at the front was super helpful and had excellent customer service. Food was amazing. I highly recommended this place!!
