This was the most delightful surprise this morning on our way to Old Rag! We stopped in for croissants and lattes/chai before the start of the day and let me say we were floored by the croissants. The worker was pleasant and gave great recommendations too! The chai was delicious and not made from concentrate which I always appreciated. But those croissants were the best we’d ever tasted!!!! The plain was great but the raspberry and chocolate croissants were to die for. Cannot wait to go back just for those. We did return in hopes of more croissants but they had sold out so we settled for cookies which were fine but nothing in comparison to the croissants. Loved it!! I will say it’s slightly small inside so I wouldn’t plan on staying inside.
After Autumn Leaves drive in Shenandoah Valley National Park, I had a meal at Patty O's cafe and stopped by a bakery inside and bought a fig and goat cheese cheesecake. This is really wrong. I came home and ate a cake with Decaffe coffee, really! It was so delicious that I regretted buying only two! Why did you only buy two!! It's so delicious... I want to eat again. I'm sad because my house is far away. Next time, I will go to a Michelin restaurant in Little Washington and this bakery again.
Simply fantastic! Bluegrass Brunch is not to be missed. The excellent 3-piece band make for a truly unique setting. Add that to the consistently wonderful food & beverages and it is clear the guidance of Chef O’Connell is at work here. Like The Inn, every detail is just right. Eggs Benedict is the best ever. The efficient & proper waitress quickly offered beautiful ripe tomato or avocado to replace the ham. Parfait is creamy and delicious. Blueberry pancakes are delightfully light and accompanied by (on-the-side) blueberry sauce like none other: It is more like a pourable compote instead of the sugar syrup type sauces. On top of all that, the coffee is perfect- both drip and lattes.
Luciano has a great verbalaization , representing bringing joy to the living. Great communication I am pleased to come here. Oh yes banana muffin was perfect. Not loaded with sugar but not to starchy. Drip was good too.
Such a cute little bakery. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They suggested some deserts to us and we were not disappointed. They were so tasty! We had a chocolate croissant, carrot cake, a lemon pistachio tart, and and the new citrus cheesecake. They prices were pretty reasonable and the quality definitely made it worth it. The bakery also serves coffees and hot chocolates that smelled good and tasted good.
