Pasture at South Farms

I visited the Pasture at South Farms on Friday night for the first time! It was a well-rounded selection of trucks with options for drinks, bbq, Mexican, and ice cream. Plenty of seating, and the views of the farmland are really nice! It was quiet and relaxing. Would love to come back on a night when they do live music.

Fantastic idea and great food but located in an odd place at a busy intersection. I recommend Hindsight BBQ. The yuzu wings are an A+. They are the perfect summer chicken wing. The Sidewinder Fries are great too but the chili dipping sauce is super spicy—so beware!Speaking of super spicy: the crisp chicken sandwich will heat up your tongue, too. And it’s not a fried sandwich as the name suggests. Definitely try the yuzu wings and sidewinder fries, though! One last thing: The Hindsight does not sell drinks—so you are on your own with their spicy sauces and sandwiches! BYO beverage!

It’s a really great idea to help out food truck vendors. I am a sucker for food trucks! My son & I stopped in after last night they had for the South Farms social. Don’t think it’ll be a regular stop in the summer, although I’d love to, it’s just wicked expensive for what you get. I’m assuming it depends on what food trucks are there. If you are in the area definitely stop by.

We stopped at The Codfather Food truck on the spur of the moment. The friendliness and atmosphere was terrific. However, the food was a fail. For well over $100 We received overly fried, hard, clam strips, Lobster rolls smothered with lemon 🤮(Very much a pet peeve of mine), and a decent Po Boy sandwich. We paid at least twice what this food was worth. And while I understand that some people like a lemon on their seafood, not everyone does. We won’t be going back

I had an incredible experience this weekend at With a Splash! You can tell that the owners Bri & Alex are truly passionate about what they do and I think this has been the perfect addition to Pasture at South Farms. I love their heavy focus on mocktails and how they can curate drinks to your preferences and needs. As someone who doesn’t drink, this business is perfect for someone like me who still is interested in having a fun drink! I tried the magic lemonade and it was delicious! I will be absolutely hooked on this spot this summer!!
